POP / POS

MDS handles point-of-purchase (POP) and point-of-sale (POS) merchandise for clients in support of one-off and ongoing promotional, marketing, and sales campaigns. POP / POS inventories managed by MDS often undergo varied counting, kitting, assembly, co-packing, collating, gluing, taping, banding, shrink-wrapping, marking / labeling, bagging, inserting, or other specialized handling / packaging to prepare goods for shipment.

Production staging of promotional materials can be for simple, straightforward many-to-one distributions or involve vary large, highly sophisticated one-to-many drop-shipments. The latter might require MDS to conform to a complex fulfillment matrix. Project parameters can drive activities such as special sorting or parsing of the database for timed shipment of selected subgroups within the shipping file. List segments may also be merged to multiple levels of unique “kit” or package composition, sometimes requiring each group to be shipped differently to achieve a desired result.  All of this is handled with ease at MDS.
